Paris Blog

I read my weekly official guide to Paris event, Zurban, and you know what ?
They have an article about Blogs ! They are making a tour of blogs around Paris.
That's a sign that blogs are already part of the pop culture : have you try to imagine all these blogs owner posting like hell about mountains of different themes : their life but also poetry, technics, art, porn too, of course.
I think this is a momentum that is not likely to stop.
In the range of side effect are these shoutbox, little applet taking place on the side of a blog and the visitors are no longer adding comment to a specific post but are invecting (is that an english word ? I doubt, sorry about that) the author "directly".
That's right that the shoutbox is such an idea that I want to add this feature a very serious web based appli in my company.
In the side appli collection, the second is the photo gallery : these specialized sites are offering picture collection sharing capabilities, and some of bloggers are pointing to their photo gallery in these photo sites ! Great !

Finally, the syndication is also very popular, with technicians able to compose their home page with pieces of news coming from different sources !

Two Little Secrets

I can tell you a little secret : my wife (again) felt asleep while watching TV.
I must tell that for her it's quite a difficult exercise, because she's not speaking french very well, and I see that she's making a lot of efforts to understand.
Another little secret : our neighbour gave to the world a new small women : her girl was born 27th of august and today we saw this diamon for the very first time. Life is Life !

Next week trip

I'm going to work next full week in Denver,CO ! I was there in 2000 (you've seen one old pict on this blog already) and I'm very happy to be back. But last time was for symposium, while this time is for collaborative working (meettings).

Blog and website template

I'm currently (re)working on a template. The idea is to use table a less a possible to perform the layout.
I'll be using CSS as much as possible to give position of elements.
I'm just at the begining, but it's already something : I have the big zones in place.
here is the current state of it. It's really suited for mozilla : I tried with explorer but it's not giving the expected result.

All the family

Hey you know all my family now : Anya, my wife, Alexis and Sasha her children, and Arnold my son.
Having all of them with us at the same time is like eaven on earth.
It's quite rare, because Sasha is student in Moscow, in 4th year of economic institute, and Arnold in with his mother in south of France 850km from Clamart. Only Alexis is living with us. He will begin first professinal course in accounting technic.

It was "Action and Thought" but there were none of them in this blog. And because I'm blogging more about life and life and people, I decided to change for a more fleshy title : "Bloog : blood in the blog".
Is there somebody reading that who can tell me if this is a good move ?

Saturday hassle and olympic games

Hey, we're saturday ! the day of hunting the supermarkets to fetch something to feed the whole family for the next week !

We went to movie theater yesterday to watch Helboy : we spent a good time, it's a good movie !

Week-end at the sea side

Yesterday we went to Fecamp on the Channel coast. It was a great day, and a long time ago I didn't swim so long.
The water temp was around 19 C but it was really good.
I was surprised to meet not that much people on the way back to Clamart (92). It was done in less than 3 hours.
